What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in between visits, and understand how you use the product so it can be improved. OptiHedge uses cookies only for purposes that are necessary to operate the platform securely and effectively.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure the platform, remember preferences, and understand product usage.
We do not use cookies for advertising targeting, cross-site tracking, or to sell data to third parties.
Types of Cookies We Use
Required for the platform to function. These include authentication session cookies set by Auth0, which keep you logged in between page loads. Without these cookies, you cannot use the dashboard or access personalised features. These cannot be disabled.
Remember your preferences such as display settings, selected plan, and recently viewed stocks. These improve your experience but are not strictly required. You may disable these in your browser settings without losing access to core platform features.
Help us understand how pages are used — for example, which features are most frequently accessed, how long users spend on each section, and where errors occur. This data is aggregated and anonymised. We use it to prioritise improvements to the platform.
Third-Party Cookies
Auth0 and other service providers may set cookies required for authentication, fraud prevention, analytics, and payment processing. These providers operate under their own privacy and cookie policies. Auth0's cookies are used solely to manage your secure session with the platform. Stripe may set cookies when you interact with payment screens.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking required cookies may prevent login or core platform features from working.
Most modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies from individual sites. In Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. In Firefox, go to Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, go to Preferences → Privacy. Note that blocking essential authentication cookies will log you out and prevent you from signing back in until they are re-enabled.
